Thought by many in the [[Dee Nee]] community to be the best leadoff hitter in the game, Trammell is known for his leadoff homeruns. He has one of the bettter HR and speed combinations in the game, and also boasts excellent contact.

* Born February 21st, [[1958]] in Garden Grove, California
* Made his Major League debut September 9th, [[1977]]
* Played his final game September 29th, [[1996]]
* Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 2nd round of the [[1976]] amateur draft
* Played his entire 20 year career with the Detroit Tigers
* Six-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner
* Tied a World Series record for a five-game series with nine hits in winning the [[1984]] World Series MVP
* Managed Tigers for three seasons, from [[2003]]-[[2005]], compiling a record of 186-300.
