Reggie Jackson
Reggie Jackson (born May 18, 1946) is the clean-up hitter for California in the NES game RBI Baseball. Jackson is considered one of the most feared hitters in all game, and is well known for his ability to get incredible lift on the ball. Jackson's RBI nickname is Potatoes, coming from the powerful combination of him and California No. 3 hitter Wally Joyner (nicknamed "Meat").
Jackson is a Hall of Famer, ranking ninth all-time at the start of the 2005 baseball season with 563 home runs. He was the 1973 AL MVP with Oakland, and was a two-time World Series MVP (1973 and 1977). On the downside, Jackson is the all-time strikeout king in baseball history (reflected in his poor contact rating in RBI Baseball).
