The Tettleton is a batting style used either occasionally, all the time or never - it all depends on the player. With the Tettleton, you have the batter start his swing in the slightly forward position (do this by tapping the A button before the pitch is thrown). From there, you do a three-quarter swing, which can be quite effective. A great way to infuriate your opponent, hitting a dinger in the Tettleton position always pisses them off.
