A slaughter occurs when either the visiting team is ahead by 10 or more runs after any full inning, or when the home team takes a 10 or more run lead during any inning. The penalty for getting slaughtered in the RBI Baseball Drinking Game is to drink 10.
In the Arcade version of RBI, the slaughter comes into effect as soon as either team has a ten run lead.
